Fruit/Object: A half a gallon of milk (Really?!) www.thebump.com says a papaya...
Size: Baby weighs in at a 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 pounds. Crown to rump length is 8 1/2" and from head to toe is about 12.5" to 13 1/2" long.
Baby changes: Through ultrasound scientists have learned that even unborn babies love to play. Yours will continue to pedal around on the uterine walls, and he'll try to grab everything around him with his increasingly strong grip. His favorite toy -- well, his only toy, really -- is the umbilical cord, which he might yank or swing or pull on for entertainment.
Baby's inner ear has also fully developed so this week it knows if it is upside down or rightside up! (How cool is that?!)
Oh, and another crazy thing to find out this week? My uterus is the size of a soccer ball!! Ack!
Best Moment this past week: This past Monday was Memorial Day so it was an extra long weekend. We were very lazy and it was so nice! :) Also, my brother found out he made Master Sergeant. We are all so proud of him! Way to go Josh!
Remembering those who served.
Food Craving: Rice and peas...yummy! I've been eating that combo for years now but recently at least three times a week seems good. Cherrios and bananas sound yummy too.
What I miss: Nothing…
Sleep: Still waking up around 1 or 2 and then again right before my alarm goes off. It's frustrating waking (the baby just kicked!) up just before the alarm goes off. Haha.
What I am looking forward to: This weekend is going to be fun but busy. We are going out to dinner for one of our friend's birthday celebrations. Saturday is a precious family friend's niece/daughter/grand-daughter's birthday. Her name is Pyper and she's turning one. Then, Sunday we are going to dinner with friends who just recently moved back to Texas. We are glad they are back! Oh, and it's already Wednesday! I love having Monday or Fridays off!
Symptoms: Still dealing with some of the unpleasant sides of pregnancy but I'm feeling good overall.
