{What I Believe}

I love browsing blogs and finding useful tips and projects to do with my girls. I love seeing people’s creativity and design on their blogs. The time and effort and love put into them amazes me and I love connecting with women from all over the world through their writings. But, after all of that I want to know who this person is. What do they believe in and does it line up with my families beliefs and what I want to teach my girls? I’m all for differences; God made each and every person unique but there are some things that won’t work for me and my family and some things you’ll find on my blog that won’t work for you and your family. And, that’s okay. But, I thought it was important to add this information so you know just what I believe!

1.      I believe in the one true living God; affirming the Holy Trinity that within the nature of one God, there exists three co-equal and co-eternal persons. God the Father, God the Son, Jesus of Nazareth, who is the Christ, and God the Holy Spirit.
2.      I believe in the Bible, in God’s Holy word. I believe it to be the infallible, inerrant Word of God that was given through divine inspiration to those who wrote the books in the Bible It is the final authority for me in all matters of belief and practice for every culture and age.
3.      I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe in his virgin birth, his perfect, sinless life, his vicarious and substitutionary atonement for mankind’s sin, his resurrection from the dead and in his Holy Spirit who lives in every believer in Christ.
4.      I believe in the sinful nature of mankind and that we are under the condemnation of God and we are hopelessly lost without being born again by the Holy Spirit and the grace that comes through personal faith in Jesus Christ alone. I believe that after life on this earth, those who have been saved will have an everlasting peace in the very presence of God.

I hope this gives you some more information into what I believe and offers some peace of mind if you were wondering what this girl was all about. And, if you don't have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and you'd like to but you have questions or you aren't sure how, I can assure you that you don't have to be perfect or have it all together. You just have to give your life to him and accept the free gift of grace that even though it feels like it might not be deserved, God wants you to accept Him and to give you a new life in Him. I'd love to talk to you more so please contact me!
